| Midkota High School Releases Fall And Winter 2007 Sports Schedule 8-5-7 Midkota High School has released it's athletics schedule for the Fall and Winter Sports for 2007. The Midkota Football team will begin their season away at Midway Minto on August 21. Their first home game will be vs. Wishek Ashley on August 24th. The Girls Volleyball team will open at the Lakota Tournament on August 25th and be at home vs. Harvey on September 6. The Girls Basketball team will start their season at home against Central Valley while the Boys team will open vs. Griggs County at home. To see the complete schedule, click here. |
| Midkota Boys Basketball Team In Nip/Tuck Game Vs. FSHP 1-28-08 The Midkota Boys team went on the road this past week to Finley to face a tough Spartans team. The Mustangs kept the game close throughout and found themselves leading by 1 point with minutes left in the game. A missed free throw, which would have tied the game proved to be the Mustangs demise as they fell by one point at the buzzer. | Midkota Boys Basketball Team 1-1 The Midkota Boys began their season in front of a packed Binford Gym against rival Griggs County. The Mustangs battled the Cougars throughout the game and were able to post a 1 point victory on Dylan Frappier's free throw with :32 seconds left in the game. The Mustangs traveled to McVille to face a tough Dakota Prairie squad and were handed their first loss of the season.
